Hey all,
I'm just on here asking if anyone is interested in helping to make a Christmas cd? This is our third year that we've made a cd of people singing Christmas songs and it's a lot of fun. I don't know if we'll do repeats from last year or the year before, since we want all of them to be different, so if you're interested keep in mind a few different songs. They can be funny ones, but clean. I think once Christmas comes around or maybe a little bit before, we're going to put them on the net so you guys can download them after they're all mixed together and all. It's a present that I send home to my family and just something fun for everyone to do. I figured there's gotta be people on here who'd be interested since the zone icon got popular, so just drop me a line if you're interested and then we can talk about what songs you'd like to sing and all.

Yes I know what you wanna do, I'm trying to find a really good backing track for it. I'm sure we'll get you on there somehow. I really want to at least. lol.
I have a few of them in mind.
I could probably even get the backing tracks for my own stuff, let me know if you want me on your cd.
I would really like to do this. I have a wonderful piano player that can play for me and I know a llot of unusual ones, by candlelight, o lold shout for joy and more
I might be interested in doing an instrumental song.
Sounds like fun. I know a bunch of Christmas songs, and even have a large repertoire of them that I can play on my harmonica. I'll help!

I thought I'd reply to this, now that I got so many responses. I honestly didn't think I'd get this many. If anyone wants to add me to msn messenger and we can talk about this more, my msn is jasmin_angela@hotmail.com. I'd love to hear what everyone sounds like and what everyone is interested in. I think this cd will be even better than last year. Oh and one more thing, on the other 2 cd's that we did, we did a song at the end like a big number, last time was the 12 days of christmas, and the one before was the christmas cannon. Now this doesn't have to include everyone, but can anyone think of a song that would be good for people singing together? If so, let me know.

Hey all,
Ok, I'm finally choosing a song for this. I know some of you can already sing, so that's not a big deal. I guess the reason I say some is because I don't know everyone that has replied to this. I'm going to try and do my song this weekend because after I have my sergery next Tuesday I dunno how long it'll take me to recover my voice. Anyway, if everyone can let me know what songs they've got in mind, and I'll try my best to make a list and then we can make this cd bigger and better than before! So best of luck to everyone!

This sounds like a cool idea! I just joined this website so am very new. I can do Christmas songs if you like. How about o holy night. I can sing and play the piano myself so could record and upload it. Let me know. Is it too late for this year yet?
